| History Ray purchased a hot tub in 2004 and looked forward to relaxing in his new spa. Over time he found the cover to be awkward. It became heavy and when he would flip the cover. leaves and debris would fall in the tub. There always seemed to be a loss of heat and he had to often top up the tub with water. As simple as it may seem to lift the cover on and off; it's actually a pain. The safety mechanism of locking 8 straps was not reasonable and did not secure his tub when he was away. Being situated in the middle of two other homes his spa experience lacked privacy. After searching the internet and contacting his dealer for an automated cover all he could find was a lifter or a gazebo. Both options still did not solve his problem of still having to use a traditional cover. Ray and his son-in-law Mario discussed the possibility and concept of building something automated that would have an excellent seal, ensure safety and also last longer. They developed a prototype and from there the Covana was born. To this day they are the only fully automated hot tub cover/gazebo in the world. The Covana is easy to use, safe, environmentally friendly, and allows for privacy, your very own private oasis. Ray and Mario look forward to developing and adding more innovative products to the market. |
