History
Sterling Leisure Products was founded in 2004. The family owned business combined its product development and manufacturing background to bring customers the most innovative hot tub cover to hit the market.
Sterling Leisure Products is located in Calgary, Alberta and was founded by Raymond Bussière and Mario Piché. Raymond purchased a hot tub in 2004 and looked forward to relaxing in his new spa. With time, Raymond found the cover to be awkward and not user friendly. With Mario to engineer a better way, the Covana was developed. After revealing the Covana to friends, family and local dealers, it was obvious that there was a market for such a product.

Raymond Bussière – Owner, President
As the company President, Raymond leads with passion and enthusiasm. With over 40 years of manufacturing experience, Raymond has worked in most areas of product development. Starting and managing businesses is one of his great strengths. Raymond looks forward to many more years of innovation.
Mario Piché – Co-Owner, Vice President
Mario has 20+ years experience in business, construction and manufacturing. Having always dreamed of bringing new and exciting products to market, Mario assembled a team in Sterling Leisure Products to do exactly this. Mario’s attributes include a wealth of innovative and creative ideas and a push-forward never-quit attitude. With his lead and vision, Sterling Leisure Products is bound for success and to continually mystify the market.
Daryl Henry - Director of Sales and Marketing
Daryl brings with him over 23 years of general management, sales and marketing experience. A very dynamic, energetic and driven professional, Daryl is very excited about joining the Sterling Team and looks forward to developing our Partner Program and dramatic growth of our patented COVANA product.
